Experience - You Are Wise Beyond Your Years

Description

Experience is the currency of advancement on Epitaph. As you go through the game you will obtain experience, and this can be spent on advancing your skills (at faction trainers) as well as on certain knacks. When XP is spent, it is removed from your total.

Gaining experience

Many tasks in the game award experience. You gain experience from completing quests, obtaining achievements, and even just for being online (this is known as 'idle XP'). Most tasks that involve consuming a limited resource (picking locks, killing an NPC, mining a metal vein, etc) will also award you with XP based on the difficulty of the resource consumption.
