Brief

Description

The brief command controls which things you see in brief mode and which in verbose. Typing just 'brief' will list which items are in which state. Typing 'brief all' will set all items to brief. In brief mode you will get reduced descriptions of events depending on which items you have in brief mode.

Syntax Forms

brief <type> 

Set a particular kind of event to be brief.

brief 

List your current brief settings.
