Fire

Description

The fire command is the basic ranged attack - you use it to fire a weapon at a target.

Syntax Forms

fire <weapon> at <target> 

Fire at the indicated target.

fire <target> with <weapon> 

Fire at the indicated target. Alternate syntax.

fire <object> at <living> from ambush 

Fire at the indicated target. Will only work if you are in an ambush stance.

fire <weapon> from ambush 

Fire at the target upon which you're currently concentrating. Will only work if you're in an ambush stance.

fire <weapon> 

Fire at the target upon which you're currently concentrating.

fire <target> with <weapon> from ambush 

Fire at the indicated target. Will only work if you are in an ambush stance. Alternate syntax.

Examples

Example one
> fire shotgun at draconius
Your pump-action shotgun emits a distinct 'chunk-chik' sound as it is cocked.
You prepare to fire a pump-action shotgun at Draconius.
You blast Draconius in the stomach with your pump-action shotgun.
